Hi from Wales.

I'm new to the forum and joined after recently buying an 2013 Octavia 1.6 TDi after my car was written off after it got flooded. I had never been in a Skoda before I bought it, but I have to say its one of the best cars I've had. I haven't had much chance to use it since the Corona Virus arrived, and am looking forward to get out in it when I can. 

 

I have some questions to ask which I;ll get around to posting soon

Welcome to the massive Briskoda forum.  Skoda lovers and discussions about just about everything else 

 

Skoda are basically VW cars but with the VW and Audi owners paying the premium for R&D and we get similar cars at lower prices.

 

Lots used for taxis which is a good sign.

 

I have had more than a dozen going back to the Felicia which was before VW fully took over Skoda.  Chech people are hard working and lovely and proud of their car firm. I recommend a visit to Prague and the factory and museums as theirs is a fascinating story of Skoda and CZ.

Even during WW2 and UFOs.
