Hi I’m new on here , I’m after a bit of advice please , ive just got a little fabia 1.2 estate and would like to fit a tow bar , does the mk2 version fit the mk1? As I cannot find any fir sale at the moment .

or dies anybody have one fir sale ?

I think it's more a question of if the hatchback towbar will fit an estate and whereabouts you are since they're very big and heavy.

A 1.2 isn't really up to much towing unless it's just a small trailer, if you're thinking of a caravan then perhaps you could hitch it to a passing glacier instead?

Ha ha , don’t you see on  the news glaciers are melting due to climate change ? 
it s only a small camping trailer , I’ve got a Land Rover for the big stuff 

I can’t find a second hand towbar anywhere for.a mk 1 estate hence the question 

 

I fitted a hatchback towbar to my estate had to give the bumper a big push tho , got it from scrap yard was easy to fit
