Service history info

Featured Replies

My car is telling me oil change is due in a couple of days.

I bought the car used so this is its first service under my ownership.

How do I find out what it’s previous service entailed? Using the awful MyŠKODA app I can see the date it took place but not if it was the basic oil change service, or the bigger inspection and oil change. Need to find out what I need to book in for this time around.

cheers

?

How many miles has it done?

?

What date miles was the last service done?

Skoda UK Customer Services or a Main Dealership can tell you what shows on the system.

But if it says Oil Inspection Service, or Interim or Major service you are still not really knowing what was done.

Full Main Dealer Service History or a Service Plan does not mean that things below were paid extra to have done if you are at this mileage.

The DSG Oil change is @ each 40,000 miles or sooner. Check if done.

Haldex Service at 3 years, maybe at 30,000 miles,  you need to check if done.

Brake Fluid @ 3 years and then each 2 years.

I think I’ve figured it out? I’ve just noticed the app shows a picture with a car with a spanner in it and 15 months or 20,599 and an oil can that says days and sub 500 miles. Guessing that means it just wants a basic oil change service not the bigger inspection.

In answer to your questions though...

It’s done around 26,000 (can’t remember the exact figure as I’m not in that car today) last service according to the app was at 9,000 last May at the dealer I bought it from.
