Finally after 3 weeks waiting for them to get in stock, my v-maxx coilovers have arrived. Hope to get them fitted thursday but here's some pics to keep you going.

Looking good mate but they will look better on the car.

Interesting colour scheme!!

what does the top of the spring for the front sit against??

Thought the same, but as Baker21 has posted, it sits against the strut top which is in the arch.

how odd, don't think i've ever had a car that the front suspension unit doesn't come out in one piece.

My coilovers looked the same:

thinking about it mine might be the same

was forgetting about the bushes, bearings and spacers that go on top of that lot before the top mount.

Baker21, your fronts look alot tighter wound than mine. You've got about 4 more coils than mine. I wonder if it'll make much difference to the ride/handling??

You have to fit the standard top mounting and arms on.

And remember the Superb doesnt have MacPherson struts. the damper doesnt turn with the hub.

Yep your right there mate, it does look like yours may have a little more give in it than mine? But then the KW's are alwasy known for being a hard ride?

I have two seprate srpings on my fronts unlike yours?

I am sure they will be fine mate and for the price you paid it has to be worth it?

Yeh for £300 I can't really grumble. Trying to negotiate a group buy with the seller so I can get some octy and furby ones cheap for fellow briskodians

Thats a 'helper' spring quite softly wound so doesnt upset the spring rate to much but stops the main spring rattling about when its lowered right down.
