Removal of front windscreen scuttle panel

Featured Replies

Looking for advice on removal of my 2006 vrs windscreen scuttle panel, I noticed on inspection yesterday both sides of this area from the limited view available look like a forest floor, leaves etc hopefully less the animal life.

I remember reading that the plastic flush fitting clips almost always break on removal, if anyone can advise on the part numbers that would be appreciated.

Thanks

Martin

Hey Martin,

These are the clips...

Or proper Skoda ones are part number N90911301

The wiper arms have to come off too. They can be a bit stubborn. Used a wiper arm puller on mine.

Hi Lee, thanks for the link, i wasn't sure of right ones for it ,just ordered them, i  have bought the door card clips and regulator panel rivets from this site, very good to deal with and quick delivery.

We bought a new Seat Toledo mk 1 from a garage in Darlington 1994 vintage unfortunately it was pretty gutless didn't have it long.

I suspect the wiper arms could be a bit tricky to remove, I have a set of bearing pullers but might be too big.

Martin.

Yes, I have bought plenty of clips off them and found the service to be very good too.

There used to be a Skoda dealer there too. Forgot the name now but it was on Progress Way I think. Had a few bits from there when I had my rear-engined Estelles.

EDIT: It was called Beaumonts.
