Fuel gauge reading zero

Featured Replies

Until 3 days ago the fuel gauge and miles to fuel on display worked well. Same day fuel gauge showed empty and display showed zero miles left in the tank. Earlier I filled tank 3/4 full giving me 500+ miles.

Can anyone shine a light on this problem please.

Many thank, B9

What "same day fuel gauge"?
I've had Yeti's for 10+ years and never found that.

I think he/she means  "later the same day,  the gauge that was working well was now showing zero."

Have you tried slamming the boot lid shut to see if that may jar the fuel level float into action?
😀

I'm a he - well I was last time I looked. Haven't gone down that road of transgender.

The fuel gauge showed empty and the Maxidot display showed zero miles range for the fuel. But, so far all has gone back to normal after I slammed the boot down.

So many thanks one and all for your advice and help.

Its all to do with the commas....

B9driver, There is a fuel gauge Technical Update.

Many thanks for your message Caroldiesel. When it goes for mot and service in September, no doubt they'll rectify the problem.
