  1. Got round to doing this yesterday, all went well...just followed the video. Being rather elderly I'm rather chuffed. Thanks for the help guys
  2. Thanks for that, I feel a bit of a plank but I appreciate your help..
  3. I know I've seen it and I've looked and I've searched. Can some kind soul give me link to the topic of replacing a Bolero touch screen for 2016 Yeti. Regards and thanks
  4. OK one on its way, import duty and postage cost me £20, but its a lot cheaper than the alternative !!
  5. Magic. Great help, Thanks for your time.
  6. Thanks for the insight. I'll see how it goes, if it becomes a problem it will go to the dealer, at least i'll have an idea of the possible problem/solution.
  7. 2016 Model. Occasionally the fuel gauge sticks on full when the tank is fairly full, no bother just wait for the level to drop a bit or shake the back end and it rights itself. A couple of times recently on start up, the gauge showed empty with the warning light and “Tank empty. Please refill”, the tank was ¾ full. Is this another stuck float issue or an instrument problem? Just curious…
  8. Mine went a month ago, Feb,2016 touchscreen. Can you say where to get the digitizer from and item ref # in case there are different versions. I'm in Ireland so its not quite straightforward on ordering. Thanks.
  9. Thanks for all the feed back, enlightening. Local dealer was non comital either way. Common sense prevails, I'll give it a miss.
  10. Circle K are promoting BIO fuel for a week. I run a 2016 model, any reason not to give it a go? "milesBIO HVO100 stands at the forefront of eco-friendly solutions, presenting an impressive up to 90% reduction in carbon greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions compared to traditional fossil diesel."
  11. Just in case it helps anyone in the future… OK, didn’t want to tempt fate before my NCT (MOT) today, but it passed without any sign of the Diesel particulate icon lighting up !! Shortly after the problem started I took it to the local dealer who did the obligatory computer diagnostic and reset. I haven’t had the problem since.
  12. Much appreciated info. and reassurance, Now you mention it I can't remember the last regen I heard, it was just something I grew use to and ignored.
  13. 2016 Yeti 2lt. Just driven 300 km on a motorway, majority of time @100kmh. After 200 km the diesel particulate icon came on. Thought it was a bit strange considering the distance at 100 km. Cycled through the display to show the adblue range which showed 5500km, odd as I hadn’t top up for months. Got home and pondered, I’ll check the Adblue level. I was able to add about 1.5 ltrs. I don’t know if the Adblue story is relevant or not. Recently had a new battery, I think without issues. Been out for another “fast” drive but icon still on. Any advice before I take it in.

@toot service was just fluids and look see/test drive. I checked the air filter and looks ok. @Vroooom I think your diagnosis fits my latest symptoms. Bitter cold, foggy morning, car started but seemed slower to turn over. Drove to town with lights, heater, air con, back window heater on. The air con started turning itself off. I could turn it back on for a few minutes then it would go off. etc. Revs are still at 1000. Anyway a battery check plus wing mirror at my garage a a couple of days. Thanks everyone..

Varooom, Urrell thanks for the mirror reply, hadn't realised it was as simple and didn't think of youtube. Revs are constant at start up and idle, engine is not on regen. Taking foot of accelerator at 50 Kph (30mph) the car just keeps on trundling along. I'm wondering if its associated with the cold weather as Bas750 mentioned. It went in for a service before this cold snap, was in the garage for 3 days waiting for a body part, then came out into the cold. After 6 years maybe the battery is getting tired and needs the extra revs ??? Back to the garage for a battery check and they can check the mirror at the same time.
