Folding mirrors

Featured Replies

Anyone know why the driver mirror dosn't fold like the passenger mirror?

It should assuming it's working normally...

Do you have manually or electrically folding mirrors and has the drivers side ever worked?

Have a little look inside the door bellows for broken wiring. Costs nothing, may be the issue.

I have electrically folding mirrors. and both of them working well. It looks like the driver mirror doesn't close until the end

Are we talking a small amount? If so, then I think it's normal.

The mirror bases have slightly different angles so if both motors move the same amount, the drivers one won't close quite as much if I remember correctly.

Ok, thanks. Good to know. It looks strange from an outside look at the vehicle to see one mirror close to the end and the other one not

Correct, the passenger's mirror sits with shorter angle so that to be better  targeted for the driver's eyes.

It is not the same both.
