2010 Superb II remote unlocking issue

Hello again

Been a while since I've posted here. So upgrade plans (F10 530d) have be thwarted (thanks corona). Hence, I intend to keep the Superb with me till the registration expires (5 more years). Because of the same, I intend to fix the few remaining problems (most by myself). All problems have a dedicate solution except this one. To start with, I just have one remote. When I tap the lock button or hold it for 5 seconds, all works fine (mirrors fold, windows roll up, sunroof closes). But when I want to unlock it, nothing happens. All hazard lights start flashing (like the alarm going off but without sound). Could someone tell me what the issue could be? I want to get it fixed at an outside workshop or do it myself as Skoda India is really bad at service and repairs and fleece you like anything.
