During GPS navigation my virtual cockpit is showing turn by turn arrow only and no map any idea how to change this to display map. 
the screen in the centre console is showing the map no issues. It’s a Superb iV with Amundsen

You need to press the button on the central console screen that switches the map view between Center Console and Virtual Cockpit.

I have the same car. Produced May-2020. Guesswhat production line changed from June.

Amundsen till May does not have this option, after May , show on virtual cockpit option has been enabled. sh...t, should've been an OTA update only...but no. I hope this stupid sw release mentality will end soon (maybe with ID3 and EnyaQ) in car manufacturing. It is so before 2000s that they plan for the minimum on the hw side and upgrade the hw version instead of planning for optimal and enabling / disabling features via sw updates.
