I would like to buy skoda Octavia MK1 2007 model automatic 1.9L rider AT (4 speed torque converter gearbox).The odo 87km and show room serviced car as well as well maintained. So I had manual transmission and not seen much automatic transmission. Requesting your opinion about the car. How reliable the gear box .Please guide me any of them are owned this one

As with all automatic transmissions they need a gearbox oil change at some point. It's often neglected though. So either get it done before you buy or budget for it.

 

Valve body problems are fairly common (due to poor maintenance).
