Hi. I have a 2012 mk2 vrs with mfsw and paddle shift. Imylooking to swap to a flat bottom mfsw. What is need to do this and what wheel would be suggested. I can get a 15 mfsw with paddles. Will the 12 model airbag work with this

Your airbag will not fit so you will need the corresponding one for the 2015 wheel. Additionally the switches in the steering wheel will not work with your car so you will need to swap them out with ones from a Yeti or Superb FL which look the same but operate under the correct canbus protocols to work with the Octavia mk2.
