Master power window switch working in reverse after removal and cleanup

Featured Replies

Original situation: The master power window switch on my Octavia 3 was unable to control the passenger side window, all else worked as expected

What I did :

Removed the swicth without removing car battery. Opened it up and cleaned with Alcohol. Put it all back. Took it back to  the car and reinstalled.

The issue now : Original problem fixed, all 4 windows can now be controlled. BUT the switch works in reverse. Up is down and vice versa.

Please note, no new parts installed. Only took of  the switch to clean up and put it back. No chance of having reversed anything, you can only put everything back in the same order as it originally was.

Need help!!!!
