Hopefully i'll be driving down to Tuscany in early Sept for a (twice) reorganised summer break.  We've done the run to the Med in Italy, france, spain, or Croatia regularly so know all the best routes roads and scenery and usually try to take a coupe of days and visit at least one new place every trip. However, we haven't tried to do this in the middle of a global pandemic and was wondering whats different about pan European travel at the moment?

I have booked  to go out via Calais and through Belgium, luxembourg, france , germany , switzerland and into italy . However advice is not to visit Luxembourg so im going to be flexible up to the moment of departure but want to get decent overnight stays and food on the trip.  Have any members driven across the EU at the moment? what are the hotel operations like as i hear there is a lot of room service and take away breakfast? Have any of you guys met with restrictions on travel or border limits at the swiss border.  Any of your recent experiences will be gratefully received.
