Issue with drivers window auto function

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anybody has experienced the same as me and might know the solution. I have a 2011 SE Plus Yeti. The drivers window requires the door switch to be operated for the full down and up motion. The other three windows respond as they should to a ‘one touch’ switch command.  The other characteristic linked to this is that only three windows respond to the remote opening / closing command when holding down the unlock / lock button on the key fob. (I’m not sure if this might be related to a faulty relay or sensor in the drivers door?).
Any suggestions welcome, thanks!

This is a common one.  There is a reset procedure that should fix this.  From memory you roll the window all the way down, then roll it up and keep the switch held up for 5-10s after the window has closed.

Close window, release switch then hold it up again for about 5 seconds.

Many thanks to you both, such a simple process with a successful outcome!

(I wonder what might have caused the failure of the auto feature in the first place?)

It happens now and again without anything getting trapped in the window.
