Next mods are some Ingo Noak Tuning side skirts, and powerfold mirrors. Should both be done mid January. These are the style skirts going on.

Well further to my last comment I'll be sticking with the golf r32 side skirts. As the ones supplied by the company don't fit the car and look and feel like guttering. Very poorly made.

I will be fitting the powerfold mirrors on the car very soon.

I'm after some advice on 4wd conversions, does the audi tt quattro system mate up to the mk2 chassis? Or am I best finding a mk5 golf to use the 4wd system from that?

I've tried to do some research into the audi but drawing a blank.  Thanks

Powerfold mirrors on and working perfectly. The mirror caps look better in person, the carbon weave really pops. Also the Bentley wheels fitted yesterday.

Newest mod for the car, couldn't get a black one so bought beige and painted black to match the rest of the interior.

Just need to find the sidelight wire on the switch. If anyone can help I'd appreciate it?

Well 2 weeks ago Wednesday was a bad day for my project. Someone decided to slam the brakes on half way out a junction. And I ran into the back of them. She is currently at the bodyshop waiting for the rebuild.

this makes me sad 😞

Little update, there are still a couple of touches to be made but the transformation after the accident is almost complete.

Not to everyone's liking, but the roof has been  lace painted. Same bronze as the wheels.

Love the work that’s gone into this! Nice to see something different from the norm 😁

I knew I recognised this! Love what you’ve done really stands out! Do you have an instagram to keep up with the build? I’ve seen your car on one of the fb pages but can’t remember on which 😂

Hi,the Instagram is @octaviavrsrgti it's been on several FB pages. So gets about lol

Thanks! Look forward to seeing what else you get up to!

Quick question - how did you go about the dual exit exhaust? Did you have to chop off the rear tow spot? Do you know if it might cause any problems not being able to fit a tow bar to the back?

The tow hook is still in place. They used 2 3/4" pipe for the exhaust. But I'll be changing to 3" sometime this year. I can't see it causing any problems.

Hmmm, if you happen to have any pictures of the underside could you share? I might give dual exit another go if it’s possible. The garage I took it to advised against it because they’d have to chop off the tow bit but unsure if yours will be the same as mine as I’ve got an 09 LE which has a slightly different setup to prefacelifts.

Unfortunately I don't have any pics of the underside of the car. It would depend on the size of pipework used, as mine is smaller with no boxes at the end it fits with the tow hook in place. But will need to get removed when I go to 3" pipework.

Well the car went to the audio shop for a few tweaks of the alpine halo 9 head unit just before Xmas. To get the system sounding just right, but they found issues with the setup. They found the positive wiring to be a fire hazard and had to strip the whole system out and rewire. Also fitting a new amplifier with dsp in to control the speakers. Mids fitted to the a pillars also to enhance the sound. And finally a new remote to control the master volume and bass. Also has a switch to allow for show mode (more bass) or everyday listening switching the mids on allowing sq over downright bass.
