Citigo doors soundproofing

Featured Replies

Hi,

i have recently installed wheel arch liners, installed the engine bay sound-deadening from an Up! and had the undercarriage rust-proofed.

All have decreased the soundlevel while driving. So now I figure the "weak point" as far as road noise is the doors.

Have anyone tried soundproofing their doors on their citigo?

Does anyone have a link to a guide on how to remove the trim? (I assume 3-door and 5-door trim removal is somewhat comparable).

Sounds a good idea!

But buy the plastic clips and a proper removal tool in advance.

Floor mats should help, but I bet you have some.

The thin glass areas let in noise, but there's not much you can do for that - best not carpet over them!

Here's the door card removal guide from the workshop manual,  hopefully it can help you.
