Just found the tyre pressure sticker for the Citigo-e. The tyre were about 2.0 bar but the sticker says they should be 2.5 which sounds pretty high for a small car. Is that correct?

Welcome,

it certainly does appear very high.

Did you ask at the dealership why their Tech set the pressure they did at the PDI?

That has been discussed here before when others got their new car.

I can not remember exactly where or what the conclusions were after members looked into the pressures with Dealers, Skoda, VW or whoever.

Petrol Citigo are 33F/30R. The electric version is about 300Kg heavier but running around on the same sized tyres, so it makes sense that the tyre pressures need to be higher. Also, the weight is distributed in the car differently to the petrol version, as the motor is lighter than an engine but the batteries taking up the space used by the petrol tank are much heavier - so 36psi all round seems quite reasonable.

BTW - where was the sticker?

@drewt

Very light but precise is good in good weather and roads.

It will be interesting to know how the Citigo iV's are on winter roads on the OEM tyres.

Maybe some of the members with them in Scandinavian countries can comment if they still have the tyres on that came from the factory and have had cold weather or snow already.
