    Volkswagen Golf R 2021 review (autocar.co.uk)shame that these reviewers Don don't get clued up on car spec etc.   DCC not standard in UK,check configurator before you give inaccuracies .

Mat Watson  drag races with Volkswizard in AMG A45S v Golf R Mark 8

Would be interesting to see if the £2000 performance pack &the £3000 Akrapovic exhaust would make any difference in real performance and nearer to the £55 k of the AMG. Very much doubt it.

What a cracking car the VW Golf R mk7 & mk7.5 has been and still is as a used option, with all the warranty extension cover thrown at it by VW / Dealerships currently. (admittedly in a used inflation marketplace)

Saw one of the new Golf Mk8s today at the Tescos. Don't know how I feel about the colour, mind you.
