Hi has anyone here converted a Fabia 1.2 Tsi from manual to automatic? I have a 2011 registered 2012 model that I want to convert if anyone can help

I really think you would need to buy a donor car that is running well that you can get the parts from, DSG or Engine and DSG, wiring loom, shifter, dash etc.

 

IMO it is best  to just sell or trade in your car and buy a car with DSG if your car is OK, or has your manual box got a fault?

I doubt that anyone on here has done that conversion.

Not physically impossible, but not financially viable by any means. 

Probably looking at around 3k

More if trying to find a good DQ200 DSG with some sort of warranty and paying a garage / mechanic to do the conversion.

By far the cheapest and quickest option is to sell yours and buy an automatic version.
