XTRONS Android Head Unit, Is It Easy to Install?

Featured Replies

Hi there,

I am looking to upgrade the head unit on my Skoda Fabia 2000, I am pretty satisfied with the XTRONS PBX70MTW with PX5 Octa-core and Powerful Amplifier chip. I want to know if this is really easy to install by myself or do I really need a technician to install it for me?

I am not tech savvy but I have watched the some xtrons installation videos, they seem easy. Any suggestions?

If you can do "basic" 12volt wiring, then should be no issue.

It really depends on the equipment and year of your car and if the unit comes with the correct ISO lead.

On the flip side, you could get a factory RNS 315 for similar money and you won't hate it after 6 months of use.

I bought a XTRONS IN90MTVL for my girlfriends VW Golf Plus 2012 and she is very happy with it.  Easy to install, i did it myself, less than 2 hours' job. it is plug and play
