Could not do it if I tried!!

Featured Replies

I’ve just managed to lose a micro sd card beneath the electric handbrake switch 😳

at first I almost got it back and the switch was sticking but it dropped fully down and the switch works fully again.

could I access it if I removed the cup holders? Or do they even come out??

I am great at removing things but fairly sh1te at putting them back together.

Can’t help you there but I feel your pain - I managed to get the usb connector from my VCDS lead wedged in between the drivers seat guide rail and the door trim the first time I used it and removed the plug from the diagnostic port and it took me ages to get the damn thing out! Good luck removing your sd card, I reckon you’d be easier to cut the losses and buy another unless it has irreplaceable data on it?

Ouch, and cheers for the reply, nah it’s a cheap replacement and nothing of importance on it.  Just anxious in case it causes interference with the electric handbrake.

I don’t want to risk damaging the piano black surround so I may just let it be.

Judging how easily I destroyed a 64gb micro sd when taking the back cover off my daughters Amazon fire tablet a while back without removing it I’d be surprised if one was capable of doing any damage down there. More likely to just get munched up and forgotten about.....

😂😂

Yeah that’s what I was thinking.

I’ll probably just replace the micro sd card.

Thanks again 👍
