         Thought I'd introduce myself to the forum, I'm John, I'm new to Skoda ownership and have a 2010 Octavia VRS in Race blue, looking forward to learning and contributing where I can.

Welcome @jbs is it a petrol or diesel? If it's petrol please please make sure your timing chain and tensioner have been replaced!

Hi bspman, It’s a TDI, so luckily I was able to change the timing belt kit(with waterpump) myself, Thankyou for the heads up about the petrol version it’s most appreciated.
