mate has a 98 Nissan Terrano Diesel 2.7TD and it now fails to start, engine turns but won't fire. All glow plugs have been checked and are working ok.

He also complained that it was down on pulll/performance recently. I thought it could be a MAF problem but surly this wouldn't stop it from actualy starting?

Any ideas?

Battery? Air/Fuel filter blocked? Injectors blocked? Fuel pump?

I'd check the battery first as that's an easy one and then move on from there. Once, he's got it running, he can run some injector cleaner through it to clear out the fuel system and also clean the air filter.....
