Spark plug gap for Fabia April 2018 TSI SE.

Featured Replies

I AM BUYING A SECOND HAND FABIA REGISTERED IN APRIL 2018 TSI SE HATCHBACK.  I have found no data for spark plug gaps at all yet.  It has done 11,800 miles or so and would like to check them soon.  It has the 95hp engine I believe.  Not sure of engine code yet as not here yet.  I know it is not the most powerful engine available on the Fabia range but goes very well on the test drive I did.  If you can help I would be very happy.  regards from Alan.  It is a five speed transmission.

The Fabia TSI engines have long life spark plugs fitted.

My Fabia III 1.2 TSI required spark plugs at 40,000 miles.

I did change them at the 4th fixed service at less than 4 years and 38,000 miles.

The old ones still looked good.

I doubt it is worth looking at your spark plugs.

Thanks, AG Falco

I agree, at 4 years old and just under 30K miles, my wife's 2015 Polo 1.2TSI 110PS's old plugs looked "as good as new" but I did replace them and the air filter as recommended by VW Group for these engines.
