Leaky Karoq

Featured Replies

I have a 4WD 2019 Karoq with a sun roof. Lovely car. Bought it last March. However  we noticed recently that the carpet on the drivers side was wet and a musty smell. It was sorted and Skoda said there was a recall of cars with faulty roof drain valves. Before this all happened I noticed a square had been cut in the carpet under the seat on the drivers side and a small rectangle on the passenger side. The shapes are just hidden under the fronts of the seats. I thought no more of it. As a result of the leak I asked the Skoda garage and I am assured that these squares are normal. Does anyone else have these in their carpets or do I have a car where something is not quite right.

Many thanks
