Clutch replacement

Featured Replies

Hello,

It's probably too late to ask this as I already have to pay, no way back. I have Skoda Fabia 2001 1.4. It's around 45000miles. I have had it since March 2020,and it's my first car. Couple of weeks ago the clutch went and it being my first car I am still inexperienced dealing with mechanics or the technical terms for car repairs lol Just had clutch kit and bearing, slave cylinder and full service for £505. Is this a reasonable price? The mechanic seems nice enough, but the feeling of being ripped off is still there, but I'm hoping it's just me being paranoid

Thanks guys!!

Sounds like the right sort of ballpark.  Parts aren't very expensive but there's quite a bit of labour time involved.
