Reinstalling inner tie rod boot clamp onto rack - anyone used the real clip

I have the special crimp tool.

Has anyone managed to get the real clip back on the inner boot. There is no room for the tool. If so, how did you do it please?

Have a jubilee clip tightened on there as a temporary measure.
