Identifying DSG model/type

Featured Replies

Hi

I would like to change the gearbox oil in near future, but I am having some difficulties identifying the gearbox model.

I have a service manual, for "7-speed double clutch gearbox DSG - 0CW", which seems similar with mine,

But on my gearbox  is written:

RWS 09.12.15

32 00:23 0029

The oil changing procedure/oil quantity for RWS is by any chance the same as for 0CW ???

PS: I found the page below, that might imply equivalence between DQ200, 0CW, RWS.... and many other codes. But could not find any specific details about RWS on internet.

Tanks.

It's just a newer revision. But still a DQ200 7 speed auto.

So the oil and quantities are the same. It's 2 types of oil you need. One for the gearbox and one for the mechatronics.

Thank You

Indeed. 2 types of oil...
But the manual says mechatronics comes prefilled (even in case of replacing it), and it has no draining plug.  So, I suppose I won't touch this part.

I will go with Motul MULTI DCTF 1.9 l  (manual says 2.1l if drained & suction applied, with mechatronics removed - not my case)

Thanks again.
