Is there anywhere around the South of England area (I live near-ish Guildford) where I can get an Infinity Basslnk installed? Don't really fancy doing it myself as its a major hassle and also I'd probably end up breaking a few things..

Obviously a place where they've worked with Fabias before would be a major advantage as the install is quite Fabia specific, what with the removing of the glovebox etc.

*Bump* Still looking for a place! Was thinking of just calling around and ask for quotes.

What I want to do is buy the sub online then ask in a shop to get them to install.

What's the deal if they do happen to break something while installing the sub? Any advice would be great..

They really are straight forward to install.

I did a basic guide on here somewhere, to summarise;

Power cable supplied run from battery put in an inline fuse, through the grommet behind the scuttle panel , this comes through behind the glovebox, again, easy to remove, 6 torx screws, pop off the aircon pipe, then run through the car along the transmission tunnel to the boot to power the sub.

Also run your live cable and L/R cable down the transmission tunnel, to make this easier remove rear cup holder and undo the 2 torx screws to give you some purchase to lift up the centre console slightly.

Connect everything up and to earth the sub I picked up a metal source using the nut that holds the rear speaker supports up. All in all you will need approx 2.5 hours for a neat job.

You'll feel a sense of satisfaction and save yourself a few quid into the bargain.

Be careful and do it assisted by a mate who's handy with tools.
