Hi. I have purchased a polo rear interior light to fit to my Fabia.

 

The plug connection has 3 pins on it, but we can't figure out the combination of the wires to get it to act in the same way.

 

Anyone done it successfully?

what light from what year of Polo ? piccy ?

Ok, so that means.......

 

PIN 1 is connected to earth / ground. Brown wire

PIN 2 is connectecd to the same colour from / spliced of the front interior light (this is most likely a switched earth controlled by the onboard supply unit)..................... Brown with Black trace wire

PIN 3 is the positive / supply connection from the onboard control unit, probably "easiest" to splice from the front light as well. ............Red with black trace wire
