The passenger side hasn’t worked for a while , but now the drivers side is no longer working, any advice appreciated is it a common fault

broken wires in door loom between door and A pillar most likely.............very common and lots of posts on here.

Thanks will do a search m seen something on you tube when looking and it’s on about resetting  the 3 clips, hope it’s not a expensive fix

I would concur with UrbanPanzer, here. Otherwise it could be the switches but the wiring is usually the first place to look, if the fuses are fine.

My windows were not working, It turned out to be the control unit in the drivers door. I bought a new one from a Skods dealer.
