i bought myself an OBDEleven PRO to scan my 2012 Octavia 1.4l TSI DSG automatic

 

My symptoms were Driving to work and the ESC light came on with the TRACTION CONTROL LIGHT as well on the dash and the PARK position light on the centre console by gear stick was blinking and the gearstick would not move out of park.

 

I am located in WATERFORD WEST BRISBANE 4133. I think this kind of repair is above my pay grade without outside help. Any recommendations for mechanics in Brisbane with a possible price on repair? Not confident with anything electrical. I can see from the scan that the culprit points to Transmission Control Unit.

Looks like there a blown fuse that can cause this, possibly a 60A fuse that sits next to the battery area.

Did the car get the Recall Action carried out in 2013 when there was a World Wide Recall which included Australia.

*Europe was not in the world so got a Service Campaign.* 

 

The Synthetic Oil was changed to Mineral and a software update was done.  

 

Then again in 2019 a Recall / Service Campaign was called in Australia for the DQ200's in Australia.  Covering cars fro 2009-2016. 

 

The Skoda Dealership must surely be aware as is Skoda Australia.
