Hi All - I have seen a youtube video on Coming Home/Leaving Home light animation. However, didn't see any reference on the forum or in the VCDS mods thread. Any clue whether this is possible or not? If yes, would appreciate your help and guidance on this pls.

@ApertureS the LED tail light models are 3V5945207B, 3V5945307F on the left and 3V5945208B, 3V5945308G on the right.

Yes, it looks the same as the photo you provided.

The original taillight has its own animation mode. Have you lost it?

Because I upgraded and replaced the modified taillight later, it does not come with the original animation mode.

@Waylon I dont have the animation. I have never had it. Incidentally, the identical looking taillamps - but on the Superb 3 FL which comes with the Matrix LED - has the animation. Hence, not sure what you meant by "Original taillight has its own animation mode".

You never said this part….

 

You need to run a new wire to the body control module from every lamp unit and this needs to then be coded correctly to work.

@ApertureS

I have completed the connection between the body control module and the taillight, and all basic functions can be used normally.

 

Now it's just like in the video that the taillights come home and leave home animation is enabled.
