drove it for oil maintenance, serviceman said it should stay like that  I'm just curious what it could be?

Mine is plugged in. I will not give you any recommendations as I do not know what it is.

All I can say is mine is plugged in. I to look forwards to finding out as well...... just incase it is of use.

I am hoping Lummox will respond to your thread.... he is a Skoda Guru :D

Thats the plug for the lambda probe, it certainly should be connected.

I thank you in advance to a response to this questions :D

As I've understood, lambda probe is monitoring the oxygen level in the exhaust area and sends info about it to the ECU controller.

I've asked the serviceman who unplugged it, and got a reassuring answer that it should stay like that, cause the engine worked poorly and consumed too much fuel because of a bad petrol quality here  (Serbia&Montenegro)

thanks guys :)

sorry for bump.

this 'thing' that was unplugged, isn't lambda probe, but some thingy for EGR (Exhaust gas recirculation). Lamda Probe was working properly as car diagnostics showed later (it's located on the start of the exhaust, just behind/below the engine, ~10-15cm from 2-1 exhaust joint)

The Felicia doesnt have EGR so that not correct.

That plug is for the lambde probe, I have changed a fair few. And the probe sits in the exhaust where you say it does.
