1.8 TSI 2010 OCTAVIA - COOLENT LOSS

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

I have a 2010 skoda octavia 1.8 tsi, I have had afew problems with the car but the latest one is the coolent loss. Topping it up regularly is getting annoying so took the engine tray from underneath off as when looking from the hood I can see a small patch of water or something on the tray but when looking under the car I cant see anything obvious that is leaking (also not too sure were to look). Checked the oil in the engine and it isnt emulsified. Has anyone had similar problems? Want to avoid taking it to skoda as they quoted me a 115 quid investigation charge PER HOUR.

Any ideas?

Welcome.

Maybe best take it to a local trusted garage / mechanic to get a diagnosis and repair.
