Any Mk3 owners had a LSD fitted ?

Featured Replies

Which one did you go for ?

How much did it cost inc fitting?

Who fitted it ?

How have you found it compared to before ?

Following - good question this, I'd be interested to see also. Mine is dreadful for the offside wheel spinning in low gears, along with the nearside wheel chassis hop. Thinking about a re-map one day, but not before I do something about the appaling traction issues these seem to suffer from.

You might want to consider a front wishbone performance kit from Whiteline or similar, as a first step.   https://ukwhitelineperformance.com/collections/all/products/kca462-bushing-kit

I had one of their anti-lift kits which performs similarly, fitted to my old remapped Mk5 Golf GT Sport 170 TDI.  It made a big difference to the way that the front wheels put 330 lbs-ft onto the road.

Interested to hear how these improve it all on a mk7 MQB platform

Anyone gonr from an open diff to a proper LSD?

Done it on other cars and it's a good mod. Wondering what it's like on these, they do seem to suffer from the usual VAG understeer to be honest. Isn't a cheap  mod tho!

LSD...
