I’m considering having my L&K estate completely de-chromed. I’ve been quote £400 plus vat to do the lot including roof rails and grill etc. 
Has anyone else had it done and have any photos?

Im not sure on gloss, satin or matte black. 
instinct is gloss but don’t want it to be too much on the rails. 

I haven't done it to this extent, but did some of my own wrap work several years ago and was surprised at how easy it was.

 

I'd be tempted to look into decent quality wrap, some how to guides, and save the majority of that £400.

 

It seems a lot of money for what's involved.
