You should have got an owners manual as standard with the car, but service records are held with Skoda VAG group (who should provide you a copy printout for your records).  If you need the owners manual, you can find this in either the MySkoda app or at the Skoda Owners Manual section of the Skoda UK website: https://manual.skoda-auto.com/004/en-com/Detail?model=Octavia_5E&edition=11-2018&market=&manualLang=en

Thanks for your help I will look into it as I only collected it yesterday but I am so impressed with it

I've also only had my VRS 230 a couple of weeks. I received a Owners Manual, but no service book.

When I asked regarding the Service book, I was told that "It's all electronic now".

Now this may be great if I take my car to VAG for servicing and all the work required, but I don't intend on doing that. How can I get hold of the service record?

How would VAG know when my car's been serviced elsewhere?
I've subsequently bought a blank Service Book from fleaBay just so I can keep the records up to date with garage stamps.

Wherever you take it for a service, ask for a printout of the service record.
