Hi

Can somebody tel me how is with dcc shockers by superb.

Is there some problems with it?
At how many km should you replaced the shocks here?
And know somebody how many is the price for two front shock or all 4?

thanks

I dont know, I have never changed shock absorbers on any car I have ever owned but both the front ones on my superb are leaking at around 40,000 miles and 5 years old.

First was picked up at the 4 year MOT but was advisory, not a fail.

I intend to replace them with non-Skoda parts.

Ok thanx

And what is the major service interval? Is correct 210000km?

43,000 miles since Dec 2016 & 2 x MOT tests & my DCC is fine (touch wood). Not sure what the expected lifespan of any shock is but it will depend on age & usage. Like the previous poster I have never replaced a shock an any car that has failed before. The only replacements I have ever done previously were for better control of the suspension. Traffic calming speed bumps will reduce the life of all the suspension parts so I take these at very low speeds.

My DCC is set to sport mode most of the time. I only change it to Normal or Comfort settings if the wife is in the car or if I have other passengers.

If my shocks did fail I would consider replacing them with the new OEM compatible Bilstein made adjustable shocks or similar.
