I am having my wheels redone and am thinking of the using the roof colour. 

 

Does anyone know the roof colour of a 2012 MK2 VRS rallye Green ?

I used to just paint Dark Chrome Gigaro to look like Black Gigaro using Gloss Black and a little gold flake in the lacquer coats.

 

But then i did the same with roofs and mirror caps i did.

 

If they were wheels that would be getting bashed or lots of tyre changes i did them in just Gloss Black for easy touch ups.

 

I could have used LF9R 'Black Magic' sometimes.

I can not find any close up of Dark Chrome Gigaro i painted but i did a few sets.

The gold in the lacquer made them sparkle better than the OEM black Gigaros.

I put a little flake in the lacquer when doing solid colour cars as well.
