Limited Engine RPM and orange Oil/Windscreen lights ON

Featured Replies

Hello everyone,
I have a 2010 Skoda Fabia 1.2 MPI.
Unfortunately after the battery ran out, my father connected the charging terminals in reverse. This caused damage to one of the fuses located above the battery, eliminating the operation of the power steering.

Since there is a spare free slot, I moved the cable to the free space and everything started working again.

The engine, however, is in protection, with a limiter on the engine at about 3000 rpm. In addition, the orange engine oil and orange windscreen washer warning lights remained on. I tried to connect torque with an obd2, but it doesn't detect any errors. Anyone know how to fix? Thanks so much

Do you know if your car has washer fluid level sensing, and oil level sensing installed?

I'm wondering if the instrument cluster coding may have been corrupted, and it's now giving warnings because those systems aren't present?

Have a VCDS scan done.
