Show speed limits on sat nav

Featured Replies

Could somebody tell me how to make the road speed limit show on the Karoq sat nav, searched and cannot find it, my old Sportage used to show it and found it useful....

Which infotainment system? On my Amundsen, and Virtual Cockpit, I just set the display to show the speed limits in front of me.

Hi Chris, if the amundsen is on the 2021 model then thats what I got, I tried setting speed limit  in the cockpit display, I manage to highlight it but then it said go to main switch wherever that is

Karoqs can have either the Amundsen satnav (fitted to the SE L and Sportsline as standard) or Columbus (fitted to the Edition as standard, or others as an option). MY21 cars have the MIB3 versions of both as opposed to the earlier MIB2 units fitted to older cars.

Do you have the digital instrument panel or the analogue version?

I have the analogue  display on the SE L

Sorry Blyfly, I have no direct experience of the analogue instrument panel, and the manual does not seem to mention it having a speed limit display. So it looks like you can only see them on the satnav screen . Is there are setting on its menu to show them perhaps?

Cheers, been having a play today and the speed limit seems to show up on the sat nav on A and B roads but not really  local roads, my old sportage used to show it on all roads, but strange it is settable in the cockpit display , can place a tick in the box , but then get message to go to the main switch to activate......just wish I could find it,,lol

Just in case this is useful to anyone, this is how I just now activated speed limit display on the Sat Nav map on my 2022 Karoq SE L

display the Navigation map

tap on three dots/ellipsis for more options

tap on cogs/settings

select ‘Route guidance’

scroll down

select ‘Road signs’

check the box for ‘Show on map’

[other options are also on this screen]
