Done a diag check this afternoon (trying to source the cause of a really noisy passenger front footwell vent) and got error 119..

 

I only got as far as it's a speed sensor issue and if the speedo is working then it's 'a' wire behind the Climatronic unit.. 

 

Anyone know anything more specific about this wire please? 

 

Or if its likely something else... 

Googling this and it seems that the 00 part of the display means there's no errors??

This is very confusing..

00 Does indicate that there are no errors. The 119 fault relates to a speed sensor fault.

So it's telling me there is a fault but no error? 

 

There's nothing wrong with the speed sensor because the speedo is working properly.. so I'm a bit perplexed..

That seems to be the answer that most people come to. If you know anyone with VCDS, it might be worth getting it scanned.

I have vcds but haven't plugged it in yet (bit of a newb with it and swmbo has had the car every day).. wonder if the 119 could be an old code that's stored.. that'd make at least some sense.
