Obligulatory Hello!

Heya folks,

I'm Jordy!

I live in Belgium, and i'm interested in joining the Skoda community :)

i've always driven Vauxhall before (Astra Mk3, 4, 5 ,6). But sadly GM's quality deterioated quickly post 2000..

So after 4 models of Vauxhall, i decided to say f** it, and bought myself a decent looking Octavia 3 Estate.

Late 2016 model with all the bells and whistles, I think it's about as full spec as possible for this year?

Came with the 1.8TSI (180hp) with the 7DSG dry clutch.

drives like a dream, plenty of power!

I originally wanted the VRS, however tax here in Belgium makes them very expensive sadly :)

I'm quite impressed at the quality of these cars! Excellent materials!

My one gripe so far is the lack of sound insulation, this was better on Vauxhalls.

Did some retrofitting too!

Installed rear usb sockets for the rear seats, it was some weird aliexpress part. fits and works quite well!

Swapped the rear LED tail lights for the facelift LED tail lights, cause i love their look more.

Swapped the lisence plate lights for the popular "oem" LED ones.

The only other modification was some minor edits in VCDS, such as:

-Boot closing with the interior button / keyfob

-programmed the LED fits.

More to follow soon :)
