Just bought a 2017 Octavia Estate Auto. New to the latest "Infomation" system(s). Also a computer illiterate, so please bear with me!!  

I had my mph displayed on the instrument cluster. I then paired my Iphone successfully. Now I have my Iphone details on the instrument cluster. 

How do I get the instrument cluster to return to "mph"???  I've tried everything I can think of, to no effect!

Would welcome any advice!

Folder button on steering wheel press it then scroll thru menu with wheel button to find driving data ,then press the wheel button it allows different displays such as mph oil temp mpg etc .

"Folder" button?? Not sure I understand. I've tried pressing the button above the 'Phone' button, but all that appears is "Front Assist" followed by, when I turn the knurled wheel, "Are you sure you want to cancel...". Tried every button on the steering wheel but I can't get back to "mph". 'elp!!

It's all in the owners manual.

 

Go to the 'display main menu':

- for a MFSW, press and hold the right most buttons

- for a wiper stalk, press and hold either end button

 

Find 'driving data':

- for a MFSW, turn the right thumbwheel up/down, then press the thumb wheel to select

- for a wiper stalk, press the end up button up/down, then press the button underneath to select

 

Find the MPG:

- for a MFSW, turn the right thumbwheel up/down

- for a wiper stalk, press the end up button up/down

Thank you all so much for your responses. I've successfully got back to "mph", at last!!.

I think I may have a problem though - it took several attempts to get the RH button to respond correctly. Could be a button/switch/mechanical problem or a software problem?

I might get the local Skoda dealership to do a diagnostic test (I have a 90 day warranty from "CAZOO"). They've been very good so far, so we'll see what their warranty

credentials are like!

There's an issue with the thumbwheel controls, particularly the right side one; many people have problems. Mine barely worked when I got my MY2017 last year, had it replaced under warranty. The new one still plays up every now and then by registering an additional scroll step after already selecting a page. I think the encoder isn't well adjusted/goes out of sync with the steps of the wheel.
