how easy/hard is it to remove the dash in an octavia? and can the top piece be reomoved on it's own, i'm doing a bit of retrimming in alcantara to match my speaker builds

Not that this really answers your question but the glove box and drivers side lower dash are very easy to remove. Upper dash, dunno. Mk1 btw?

Not too sure on dash removal completely but i've recently taken the carpets out to clean and there was a hell of a lot of screws just to do that,i've had all the seats,sill trims,kick panels,glove box,drivers side dash panel,rear console,handbrake lever, full centre console,heater controls,head unit and i'm glad i only had to go as far as that as i had bits all over the place,can't think there would of been much more work involved to go the rest of the way,its just time consuming and without manuals there's a lot of guess work going on,good luck to you on your task and if you need any pointers of how to get it stripped to the stage i was at then let me know and i'll gladly help:thumbup:
