2016 2.0 TDI Skoda Yeti 4x4 Oil Service

Hello, my oil service is due in less than 200 miles, but my main service is due in about 10,000 miles, can i skip the interim oil service? and have the main service done in about 5,000 miles? Thank you in advance

Hi Tomskoda, Diesel engines don’t like dirty oil. I let my TD103 go a few thousand kilometres over the 15,000 service mark  and the oil was in a bad state. Mechanics I have used say oil quality is important for longevity of a diesel engine .

Simple answer, no.
Full answer, no.
Changing the oil is cheaper than a new engine.

How many miles has the vehicle done since the last oil change and over what time period?

The answers might be Yes, Yes, but Llanigrahams final point remains inviolable.
