2.0tdi - anyone experienced this squealing noise? Had been driving about 10 miles on motorway to home with aircon on. No engine management lights on or anything.

Only noticed this when idle?

Try turning AC off. If noise disappears then it could be the compressor clutch / belt tension. Noise seems to be coming from left front side of the engine & if it's speed related then look  at the belts & pulleys.

Is it manual or auto?
