Where are the Aussie and Kiwi members?

Featured Replies

Hi fellow country folk.

Just thought I'd ask a general question and see how many Aussies and Kiwis are here.

Maybe we can start and continue our own sub forum instead of having to search through the collective multiple forums ?

Im in the Central West of NSW. To give you an idea im 3hrs 22min to Canberra and 8hrs 5min to Melbourne. New drive is a Karoq Sportline in metallic silver.

Over to you.

Adelaide, 2014, mk3, 103kw, 1.4tsi Octavia wagon.

I've been on this forum for about 7 years and the majority of contributors are really helpful.

Now Australia is getting an increasing number of Skoda with different engines and transmissions it is slightly less relevant for us than it has been, but still a great forum to participate in.

I reckon there are about a dozen inverted contributors.

Sorry but my OCD has to tell you you have not got a 'Koroq' :)

Not concerned about showing the number plate as my vehicle doesn't have those plates on anymore.

Thanks mate, yeah very happy with it. Waited for the right one to come up to suit and it happened sooner than expected and within budget. So much car per dollar!

Real nice Karoq you got! Brand spanner notice.

Hoping the Superb is the stepping stone to a Kodiaq when we start a family.

In lockdown for the long weekend but we can't really complain given work is booming and life has been completely normal through the pandemic!

Brand *spanking new haha new phone kills me on the autocorrect!

You peeps on AuSkoda group on FB? Worth the join if not!

Thanks mate and its a great feeling when something comes up and it's just what you wanted/needed.

It's always nice when work is cracking along and staying at home over a long weekend isn't that bad. We don't even get a long weekend here in NSW.

Are you on the facebook/Instagram page for Aussie Skodas ?

I joined the group on Instagram mate. Another guy in Melb also follows the page, he drives a kodiaq.

Hi, I'm on the Gold Coast.  Thinking about buying a MY21 Octavia Wagon - currently driving a basic 2003 Toyota Corolla ...

Hi CJWard and nice to see another Aussie here. I think you should go for it. Have you taken one for a test drive ?

  • 3 weeks later...

Thanks @whitevx,  go the Aussies! (spolier alert I'm an ex POM), no not yet, hopefully soon. Waiting until we're in the position to actually buy... 😁

Well fingers crossed for you getting confirmed as an Aussie and then the Skoda following shortly.
